Job summary

States Manufacturing LLC in Dayton, MN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor responsible for equipment and facility maintenance. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure preventive maintenance tasks are scheduled and performed, and you will drive reliability across our operations.

You will establish vendor relationships, manage spare parts inventory, monitor costs and downtime, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and Lean/5S initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment/service manuals.
• Experience with metal forming, cutting equipment, and repairs.
• Knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations.
• Strong reading, writing, and English communication.
• Experience with internet-based procurement.
• Self-directed and able to work independently or in teams.
• Ability to identify and solve ambiguous mechanical issues.
• Lean/5S safety compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Lead a maintenance team to perform tasks.
• Maintain vendor connections for timely repairs.
• Manage spare parts inventory with cost considerations.
• Track repair costs and downtime; drive cost improvements.
• Ensure environmental regulations during repairs and waste disposition.
• Maintain a safe, organized 5S workplace with PPE/OSHA compliance.
• Participate in Lean initiatives to reduce waste.
