Job summary

Bonduelle Americas is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Irwindale, CA to maintain and improve production equipment reliability. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical expertise, PLC interpretation, and ownership to reduce downtime while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will troubleshoot complex systems, lead maintenance activities, and ensure safety and GMP compliance, with CMMS (Tofino) documentation and collaboration with the Maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or food processing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Experience with CMMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and rapid downtime response.
• Execute and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement root cause actions.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Support PLC-controlled systems diagnostics.
• Partner with production to improve efficiency and changeover performance.
• Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensure safety and GMP compliance and document work in CMMS.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, downtime, and parts usage.
