Bonduelle Americas is seeking an Automation Technician in Irwindale, CA to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automated equipment and control systems for safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

This role analyzes needs, supports capital projects, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to improve performance and minimize downtime while ensuring food safety compliance. Strong PLC, ladder/block logic, and CMMS skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing with PLC programming training.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with other departments and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and food safety guidelines compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair computerized systems and automation devices.
• Perform diagnostic checks on automated systems.
• Monitor systems, isolate problems and perform repairs.
• Support continuous improvement of assets and controls.
• Assist with integration of new equipment and automation projects.
• Provide training to employees on complex machines.
• Backfill maintenance, supervisory and facilities duties as needed.
