Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance at a multifamily property in Plano, TX. This hands-on role includes supervising staff, managing work orders, and ensuring safety and compliance across building systems and grounds.

You will coordinate make-ready activities, train team members, and collaborate with the Property Management group to deliver high-quality resident service and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant maintenance experience in property management or hospitality environments
• 1+ year of experience supervising two or more employees
• 1+ year of experience with inventory control, ordering, & procurement
• High school diploma or GED required
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical trade certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance across the property, including building systems, grounds, and amenities, addressing work orders promptly
• Manage apartment turnover by tracking make-ready activities and maintaining the make-ready board
• Supervise, train, and support maintenance team members, leading by example and assisting with troubleshooting and work order completion
• Communicate with residents and the Property Management team to ensure professional service and minimize disruption during maintenance
• Maintain a safety-first approach, train staff on safe handling of chemicals and OSHA regulations
