Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to support the Chief Engineer by installing, maintaining and repairing industrial laundry equipment. This hands-on role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while guiding maintenance technicians and coordinating work safely and efficiently.

The position is developmental with no formal supervisory authority, requiring strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment; 2 years may be considered with demonstrated advanced technical proficiency and leadership.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs on industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, boilers, and related systems.
• Utilize a CMMS to document maintenance activities, track work, and support PM schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to maintenance technicians, including prioritizing work and coordinating workflow.
