Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to support the Chief Engineer in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial laundry equipment. This hands-on role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating work with maintenance staff in a safety-conscious environment.

The position emphasizes developing technical readiness with opportunities for growth, reading blueprints, and ensuring equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience; leadership potential.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications may be required based on local regulations or facility needs.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial laundry equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Use CMMS to document work and support PM schedules.
• Guide maintenance technicians and coordinate work with engineering.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics; ensure safety compliance.
