Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Technician IV Lead in Joliet, IL to direct a team responsible for maintenance of machinery, equipment, plumbing, refrigeration components, and electrical systems. The role emphasizes safety, cost control, and adherence to CMMS processes.

The position requires extensive hands-on maintenance expertise, leadership abilities, and flexibility to work different shifts as needed to support facility operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of warehouse equipment maintenance experience.
• In automated sites, 2 years pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical experience.
• 4 years refrigeration experience (ammonia, Freon and/or CO2) or combination of experience and trade school.
• Successful completion of Refrigeration Operator 2 course and/or a CIRO within 6 months of hire is the goal.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings may be required at some facilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety, electrical, fire protection and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and direct the work of a team of maintenance and engineering technicians.
• Perform physical inspection and calibration, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all mechanical assets impacting the operation of the facility, physical structure, and exterior grounds.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure adherence to departmental operating and capital expenditure budget for labor, materials, and projects.
• Ensure proper and complete utilization of the CMMS and verifying completion of applicable work orders.
• Participate in developing procedures to help solidify continuous improvement, cost savings and energy management.
• Utilize onsite motorized lift and rental equipment as needed while operating, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment.
• May manage all third-party maintenance contracts for the site, ensuring compliance to all company standards, policies, and procedures.
