Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corporation in Commerce, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead general maintenance across facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, painting and drywall.

The role involves driving a company van to sites, directing tasks, coordinating projects, and mentoring others while pursuing ongoing improvements. A high school diploma and at least three years of related maintenance experience are required, plus a valid California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of related maintenance experience.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on location preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance tasks across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, painting, drywall).
• Drive company van to sites to perform and supervise maintenance work.
• Coordinate tasks, assign priorities, monitor progress and support improvements within properties.
