Job summary

Applicants should have 3+ years in maintenance, HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge, a valid driver's license, and the ability to participate in an on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance work, including knowledge surrounding HVAC repair, Plumbing, Electrical, and General Maintenance repair work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems and more.
• Assist with organizing work orders and completing repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensure vacant apartment homes and car garages are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Train, mentors and oversee Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Perform preventive maintenance and daily inspections of the community.
• Maintain safety culture and follow AVB safety policies.
