AvalonBay Communities, Inc. is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to ensure safety, comfort, and functionality across properties. The role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and more, while supervising junior technicians and coordinating preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance work, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repairs.
• HVAC knowledge with CFC certification or willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate with residents and associates and read policies.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, safety systems, and more.
• Assist with creating and organizing work orders and completing repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensure vacant apartments and garages are rent-ready with turnkey work.
• Train and mentor Maintenance Technicians I & II.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect grounds/buildings daily.
• Maintain safety culture and follow AVB safety policies.
