Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a multi-task lead Maintenance Technician to maintain and inspect critical systems across AU Health buildings, including plumbing, HVAC, boiler, and medical gas components.

You will lead project work, train Maintenance Technicians, and deliver excellent service to patients, families and staff while complying with state codes and Wellstar policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• GADL or valid state driver’s license required.
• Minimum 3 years HVAC experience.
• Experience with plumbing and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plumbing and mechanical systems; inspects fixtures for leaks and performs repairs.
• Maintains boiler systems; conducts daily rounds of boiler and steam systems.
• Complies with ASHE and NFPA codes and Wellstar policies; provides courteous customer service.
• Completes required paperwork and daily logs; manages work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
