Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Senior HVAC Mechanic to provide project management oversight for repairs, installations, construction, and renovations. You will train new hires and maintain and repair large HVAC and refrigeration systems including direct expansion, chilled water, cooling towers, water coolers, and related equipment.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to daily repairs, manage spare parts, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with NFPA/Life

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years HVAC field experience for general and commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA/Life Safety Codes and thermodynamics.
• Experience with direct digital controls and pneumatic controls.
• Proficient reading blueprints and using diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance per PM schedule.
• Respond to daily service requests and project work orders.
• Oversee repairs, installations, and renovations in HVAC systems.
• Train new hires in HVAC discipline.
• Maintain and repair residential and commercial HVAC/refrigeration systems.
