Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group, LLC is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to service and repair mechanical and electrical systems across our Georgia facilities. The role includes preventative maintenance, door hardware work, and routine diagnostics to ensure safe, compliant environments for patients and staff.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of maintenance experience, strong knowledge of electrical/plumbing/HVAC, and the ability to read blueprints while following Life Safety Codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of general mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems.
• Experience with doors, locks, and automatic door operators.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow NFPA/Life Safety Codes.

Responsibilities

• Daily repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Responds to service requests and work orders.
• Identify parts, tools, and materials needed for each job.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and materials.
• Maintain inventory of critical spare parts.
• Rekey and repair automatic/manual doors and related hardware.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Document repairs and close out in CMMS within deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned while adhering to policies.
