Job summary

The Boyd Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III (Lead) to serve as the lead maintenance professional for the community.

You will supervise, troubleshoot advanced HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems, oversee daily maintenance operations, and ensure quality control standards are met. You will partner with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager, mentor junior technicians, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance experience in facilities or residential communities.
EPA 608 Type II certification is required.
Strong leadership and safety-focused approach with attention to quality.

Responsibilities

Lead daily maintenance activities and assign work orders.
Perform advanced repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
Complete service requests promptly and conduct routine inspections.
Oversee safety inspections and regulatory compliance.
Mentor Maintenance Technician I and II team members.
Prepare vacant units to company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and storage areas.
Assist with vendor management and on-call duties as needed.
Provide excellent customer service to residents and vendors.
