Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, kitchen, HVAC, and related systems. You will serve as a shift/shop leader, sharing knowledge with junior Maintenance Engineers and supporting renovation projects.

You will respond to emergencies, perform scheduled maintenance, and ensure adherence to regulations and company policies, while coordinating with vendors and staff to ensure reliable

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Three (3) years of maintenance experience in a commercial or industrial facility.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing and painting.
• Skilled with power and hand tools.
• Able to read, comprehend and apply technical material, schematics, and blueprints.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Computer skills strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
• Working conditions may include inclement weather and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties in compliance with regulations and Company policies.
• Respond to emergencies such as fire, power outages, gas, and water leaks.
• Perform periodic maintenance per preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain property by repairing electrical/plumbing fixtures and painting when required.
• Lead shift and train junior Maintenance Engineers.
• Assist in renovating projects.
• Communicate with department heads, staff, and subordinates.
• Interact with vendors and outside contractors.
• Coordinate and follow up on work performed by vendors/contractors.

Education

Trade school diploma or equivalent experience
