Job summary

SugarCreek Packing Co. is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to lead troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and team mentoring in a busy food production facility.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance with automated equipment, strong electrical/controls knowledge, and adherence to LOTO and safety policies. On-site work with occasional travel between plants may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years maintenance experience with automated equipment.
• Experience in a food manufacturing setting preferred.
• Electro-mechanical focus preferred (vocational/associates).

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and escalation for maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Mentor junior technicians and peers.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures at all times.
• Plan maintenance schedules with Plant Management to minimize downtime.
• Review work orders and complete repairs in a timely manner.
