Job summary

Sugar Creek Packing Co. in Frontenac, KS, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment. You will coordinate with Operations to minimize downtime and keep machines running safely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; electro-mechanical focus preferred.
• 2+ years in maintenance with automated equipment; electrical/electronic responsibilities preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle and rebuild machinery with hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance; inspect drives, motors, belts, and filters.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures at all times.
• Maintain communication with Plant Management regarding maintenance issues.
• Complete daily shift maintenance reports.
