Job summary

Veolia North America seeks an experienced Electrician/Instrumentation Technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and install electrical, instrumental, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems at our Rhode Island facilities. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibrate instrumentation and valves, and troubleshoot PLC/SCADA data; train peers and ensure safety compliance.

A valid Electrical Journeyman license, a clean driving record, and four years of field experience are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four years of on-the-job electrician/instrumentation experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; Electrical Journeyman’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems using testing devices.
• Install and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Calibrate instrumentation and valves; zero and span; adjust.
• Download and analyze data from PLCs/SCADA; diagnose communication issues; adjust I/O modules.
• Document results and prepare labor and material estimates.
• Operate vehicles for plant maintenance.
• Train peers and enforce safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and ensure compliance with codes.
