Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair power house and supervisory systems. The role requires following safety rules, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining records.

Strong data entry and computer skills are essential, with a background in instrument/electrical technology preferred. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and an associate degree in related technology fields.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Data entry and use of office software.
• Troubleshoot and repair remote/local control systems: HVAC, gas turbines, boilers, compressors, generators, valves.
• Troubleshoot sensing devices for pressure, temperature, UV, motion and flow.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and participate in required safety training.
• Installs, maintains, calibrates, troubleshoots, and repairs power house and supervisory systems and instruments.
• Implements a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and records.
• Reads process and instrument diagrams.
• Programs loggers and controllers (multi-loop ladder).
• Generates hard copy records of ladder logic.
• Performs other duties of a similar level and nature.
