Job summary
Hanesbrands is seeking a Tech IV to provide advanced maintenance and TPM for the VSC. You will lead technicians, train new hires, and perform PMs, repairs, and upgrades on PLCs, drives, HMIs, and conveyors across facility systems.
The role requires strong PLC, VFD, HMI/SCADA experience, ability to read technical manuals, and commitment to safety. This is an on-site opportunity in Martinsville, VA with diverse maintenance responsibilities and continuous improvement duties.
Qualifications
- 2-year degree required in Electrical & Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Applied Engineering & Design.
- Experience with PLC setup, programming, and troubleshooting is required.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair experience on automated systems and conveyors.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced programming, troubleshooting, and improvement support for automated systems.
- Lead technicians, provide training and guidance to new hires.
- Perform PM, repair, and installation of system components (PLC, HMI, VFD, drives).
- Create and audit work orders; ensure PMs and work orders are completed.
- Engage in continuous improvement to sustain equipment reliability and uptime.
