Job summary

Lilly seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to service, repair, and maintain pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, ensuring uptime and GMP/GDP compliance. You will work with Operations to understand needs, troubleshoot root causes, and perform equipment overhauls in a safe, collaborative environment.

The role requires a high school diploma plus 5 years of maintenance experience, English proficiency, and the ability to work on night shifts; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Improve equipment uptime and line efficiency.
• Troubleshoot root causes of machine problems (vibration, temp, bearing issues).
• Repair and overhaul equipment (gear boxes, pumps, blowers, drives).
• Set up equipment to design specifications (timing, leveling, alignment).
• Plan and schedule urgent or emergency tasks and delegate to maintenance team.
• Document repair actions in the CMMS system.
