Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants is seeking an on-site Maintenance Supervisor in Phoenix to lead the maintenance team for property upkeep and repairs. You will schedule daily tasks, assist in hiring and training, and ensure safety standards are met while coordinating vendor work and inventory.

The role requires HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, strong communication, and supervisory experience. On-call availability and proactive process improvements are expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and making recommendations for service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Assist in training of service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Improve maintenance processes and methods.
• Maintain logs and MSDS sheets.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety policies are followed at all times.
• Handle lock-outs and 24-hour service response.
• Be available on an on-call basis.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and delivery of supplies for service, custodial and grounds.
