Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Maintenance Skilled Technician to support installation, maintenance and repair of automated material handling equipment across distribution facilities. You will troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems, calibrate equipment, and collaborate with lead technicians to ensure high equipment availability.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance in an industrial setting, a valid driver’s license, and experience with PLCs, HMIs, and robotics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in maintenance in a distribution, manufacturing or industrial setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.
• Experience in work order management and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• Experience with MHE safety standards.
• Experience with PLC programs and HMIs.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic I/O functions.
• Experience with robotic operation/maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) on site, including conveyors, sortation, robotics, or AS/RS.
• Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales and printer applicators.
• Adjust, reset, repair, or replace adjustable components and wearing parts.
• Clean, lubricate, calibrate equipment and maintain motors, sensors, relays, encoders, etc.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of industrial robots.
• Create and close Work Orders using asset management apps with labor hours and parts data.
