Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Hopkinsville, KY is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm). You will lead maintenance on complex equipment, troubleshoot PLC-based systems, and mentor junior technicians to reduce downtime and extend asset life.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and basic control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment (e.g., conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatic systems).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues in production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair or replace faulty components (bearings, belts, sensors, wiring, etc.).
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
