Job summary
Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) in Hopkinsville, KY. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on complex manufacturing assets, mentor junior technicians, and drive reliability improvements in a fast-paced production environment.
Primary responsibilities include troubleshooting PLC-based systems, coordinating with engineering, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in industrial maintenance or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lead/mentor technicians and work independently or in a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues in production equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, schematics and diagrams.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS.
- Collaborate with production/engineering to minimize downtime.
