Job summary

Fairway Management (a JES Holdings division) seeks a Lead Maintenance Tech to manage maintenance tasks across properties in Kirksville area. The role requires punctuality, proactive service, and the ability to handle final inspections and turnovers with attention to detail.

You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, and coordinate with managers and vendors to ensure high standards of curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and building operating systems.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.
• Knowledge of HUD and LIHTC maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and investor regulations and policies.
• Prepare for state agency and investor inspections.
• Prioritize work orders for assigned properties.
• Ensure properties maintain exceptional curb appeal.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Lead make-ready process with unit turns timely (painting, carpet cleaning, general cleaning).
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace HVAC as needed.
• Train assigned staff on systems and safety procedures.
