Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of journey-level building trades experience.
• Must have training in welding, brazing, soldering, and air conditioning.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Type-I, Type-II Refrigeration service license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, train, and monitor level I mechanics and trainees.
• Oversee repairs to plumbing, electrical fixtures, doors, windows, and locks; pump controls; small engines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex problems across building systems.
• Assist with and perform HVAC repairs including compressors and freon recharge.
• Install and repair low-voltage HVAC controls and access control systems.
• Create and delegate work orders; keep detailed service records.
• May participate in training and work overtime as needed.
