MG Properties in Chandler, AZ is hiring a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our Biscayne Bay community. The role covers multi-trade maintenance, resident service, and safety compliance.

You will mentor technicians, manage service requests, and ensure preventive maintenance is performed on schedule. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in property maintenance, strong customer service, HVAC knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience, preferably on a 200-unit property.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related trades is required.
• Customer service attitude, flexibility and ability to work in a team are essential.
• Reliable transportation and availability for on-call rotations.
• Grace Hill/Yardi on-line training and PayScan knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks and oversee technicians when needed.
• Oversee and inspect work; manage resident service requests, aiming to resolve within 24 hours.
• Coordinate maintenance staff schedules and respond to emergencies 24/7.
• Maintain safety programs, keep SDS and EPA/OSHA regulations current, and track records.
• Diagnose and repair routine building systems and manage inventory.
