B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the community's maintenance operations on-site in Tallahassee, FL. This working supervisor role combines hands-on repairs with oversight of staff, vendors, and safety compliance.

You will manage service requests, plan turns, and support capital projects, ensuring a safe, well-maintained property while delivering strong resident service and cost control.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of maintenance systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
• Proven ability to supervise and lead maintenance teams
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems
• Ability to perform basic calculations and interpret data

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, including service requests and preventative maintenance
• Perform and assist with repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems
• Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance staff and grounds team
• Coordinate and prioritize daily work orders and responsibilities
• Manage vendor relationships, sourcing, bidding, and contract oversight
• Plan and execute unit turns and coordinate with internal teams during turnover
• Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with safety standards
