Job summary

Avanti Residential in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Service Manager to lead the maintenance team across properties, manage preventive maintenance, and uphold curb appeal. You will mentor staff, control budgets, and coordinate with the Community Manager to meet property goals.

This role requires 3+ years in property maintenance, 1+ year supervisory experience, EPA Type II or Universal certification, and strong communication. Occasional after-hours on-call support is included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of property management maintenance experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification required.
• CAMT certification preferred but not required.
• CPO certification required where applicable by regulation.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Familiarity with property management software (Yardi, HappyCo, SightPlan).

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance staff with daily directions, priorities, and schedules.
• Oversee preventive maintenance to minimize emergencies.
• Ensure units are ready for new move-ins with inspections.
• Manage after-hours emergency maintenance and on-call.
• Collaborate with Community Manager to meet property goals.
