Job summary

Central Bethany is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Hyas Point luxury apartment community in Washougal, WA. You will supervise a hands-on maintenance team during opening, ensuring safety, efficiency, and premium living experiences for future residents.

The role requires 3–5 years in apartment maintenance, strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related trades, plus leadership in a multifamily setting. EPA certification is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of apartment maintenance experience or lead/ supervisor exposure.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting.
• Experience overseeing maintenance ops in multifamily housing preferred.
• EPA Certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Lead and support maintenance team with hands-on repairs and service requests.
• Coordinate turns, move-ins, and punch-list completion during lease-up.
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry tasks.
• Establish preventative maintenance programs and procedures for the new community.
• Manage vendor relationships and supervise contracted maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, OSHA, and local codes.
• Respond to resident concerns and promote satisfaction and retention.
• Participate in rotating 24-hour emergency on-call schedule.
