Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical integrity of a multifamily community. You will lead maintenance staff, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and quality across the property.

The role requires 3+ years in multifamily maintenance, HVAC and CPO certifications, and a 40-hour work week with weekend availability. On-site duties include coordinating with the Property Manager and vendors to maintain excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or related field.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and daily operations.
• Strong understanding of lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code for the state.
• Proficient in property management software (OneSite and/or Yardi) and Microsoft Office.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including weekends, with rotating on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and tools; ensure tools are in good condition.
• Monitor and correct hazardous conditions on the property, including lighting and common areas.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff; promote a safety-first culture.
• Balance the property maintenance budget and obtain management approval for major expenses.
• Schedule and coordinate on-call and emergency maintenance rotations with the property manager.
• Oversee service requests; ensure work orders are completed promptly and to standards.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and safety regulations; maintain proper records.
