Job summary

RHM Real Estate Group is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of a multifamily property in East Cleveland, OH. This hands-on leadership role focuses on keeping buildings in top condition, reducing costs, and ensuring resident satisfaction across units and common areas.

You will manage a maintenance team, coordinate repairs, inspect units during move-outs, and collaborate with the property manager to maintain safety and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in multifamily property maintenance.
• Proven maintenance skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting and appliances.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities for maintenance team.
• Excellent communication with residents, employees, managers and contractors.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Hands-on maintenance expertise and safety knowledge.
• Familiarity with Yardi and Nexus software.
• Organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, courteous, knowledgeable attitude with residents and staff.
• Assist residents with problems and requests within authority limits.
• Ensure curb appeal of building exterior and common areas.
• Continuously supervise maintenance and personnel; set daily goals.
• Oversee scheduling of contractors and on-call duties.
• Complete maintenance requests and report progress and materials used.
