Job summary

Avanath Capital is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee property maintenance staff and vendor partners, ensuring high-quality service for residents. The role emphasizes timely repairs, preventive maintenance, and strong customer service within a multifamily community.

The position requires supervisory experience, hands-on trade skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, plus a valid driver's license and willingness to work on-call and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident requests and manage work orders with urgency and quality.
• Oversee maintenance staff and vendor activities to ensure property upkeep.
• Ensure safety, code compliance, and timely repairs across the community.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs to extend asset life.
• Plan and control maintenance budgets, inventory, and supplies within policy.
