Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in California (Chino Hills) to lead our maintenance team and oversee operations across properties, ensuring safety, reliability, and a high standard of living for residents. You will manage tasks from HVAC and plumbing to electrical repairs and preventive maintenance, while coordinating schedules and staying within budget.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to handle on-call

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in custodial/maintenance work including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance tasks.
• A valid driver's license.
• HVAC (CFC certifications required or willingness to learn).
• Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule in rotation with the team each month.
• Ability to read and understand policies (Key Control Policy, Apartment Home Turnover Policy and Maintenance Emergency procedures).
• Knowledge of PPE and safe handling of chemicals and reading safety data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the maintenance team, providing guidance on daily tasks and projects.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork among staff.
• Perform and oversee advanced maintenance and repair tasks (HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and appliances).
• Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventive maintenance.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost control for maintenance operations.
• Respond to on-call emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues to ensure resident safety.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
