Job summary

Ajulia Executive Search is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and ensure production equipment runs safely and efficiently in our Illinois facility.

You will develop preventative maintenance schedules, oversee a small team of technicians, resolve equipment issues quickly, enforce safety standards, coordinate with outside contractors, and maintain accurate maintenance records to minimize downtime and support quality production.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• 2+ years maintenance management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance — Develop and oversee schedules to keep equipment at peak performance.
• Team leadership — Train, guide, and supervise a small team of maintenance technicians.
• Troubleshooting — Quickly resolve equipment issues to minimize production interruptions.
• Safety compliance — Ensure all work meets safety regulations and industry standards.
• Vendor coordination — Manage outside contractors for specialized repairs.
• Record keeping — Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, inventory and equipment performance.
