Job summary

Lawson is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all property maintenance activities in Virginia. You will supervise staff, schedule repairs, and ensure timely work order completion while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum Type I & II CFC refrigerant certification per 40 CFR Part 82.
• CMM designation or ability to obtain within one year.
• Two years maintenance trade experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to supervise maintenance staff.
• Must be able to operate a golf cart.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies and weather events.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise and develop maintenance staff.
• Plan and schedule all maintenance needs for the property.
• Communicate with office staff and report to the Director of Maintenance.
• Manage service requests and close work orders within 24 hours.
• Inspect grounds and maintain curb appeal.
• Coordinate contractor services and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and regulations.
• Maintain inventory and assist with purchases and invoices.
• Assist in regulatory compliance and asset improvements.
