Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its Tennessee facility. The role directs the maintenance team, oversees preventative maintenance, and ensures equipment, buildings, and grounds meet regulatory standards in a food manufacturing setting.

The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, plus experience with PM systems and regulatory compliance. It involves coordinating with Engineering, QA and Production teams and managing inventory.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in food manufacturing.
  • Familiar with utility systems: refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, PLC.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
  • Proficient computer skills with PM systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance department personnel in daily operations.
  • Maintain Preventative Maintenance program to ensure uptime and compliance.
  • Organize work priorities and scheduling of repairs and installations.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities with operating teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA and Production on maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory and procurement processes.
  • Assist in hiring and developing maintenance associates.
