Job summary

H&F Bread Co in Marietta, GA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a highly automated food manufacturing operation. You will direct maintenance staff, uphold safety rules, and ensure efficient operation of baking and packaging lines.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of supervisory experience, strong PLC and CAMS skills, and the ability to read schematics and ladder logic. A technical degree or equivalent is preferred; this is an on-site full-time role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing setting.
• Experience with tunnel and conveyor ovens, mixers, proofers, and packaging equipment.
• Strong PLC knowledge.
• Experience with CAMS (Computer Assisted Maintenance System).
• Familiarity with VFDs, control panels, relays, sensors, and 480V systems.
• Ability to read schematics and ladder logic.
• Industrial 3-phase experience.
• Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Post-secondary degree or technical degree or equivalent.
• Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance personnel to comply with safety rules and procedures.
• Communicate with management to address current and future needs.
• Maintain and update Preventative Maintenance procedures.
• Update the Preventative Maintenance schedule.
• Manage spare parts inventory for the facility.
• Maintain files required by local, county, state and federal authorities.
• Advise Plant Manager on department efficiency and operation.
• Attend meetings, prepare reports and process documents as required.
• Prepare and inspect PM worksheets for mechanics.
• Perform daily walk-throughs to inspect equipment for safety and proper operation.
• Communicate issues with the Plant Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
