Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a fast-paced, high-speed bakery operation in the Atlanta area. You will lead technicians, troubleshoot complex equipment, and drive preventive maintenance to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, strong Allen-Bradley PLC skills, CMMS experience, and hands-on expertise with high-speed conveyors, ovens, and packaging equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience, preferably within bakery or food manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Strong Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with CMMS/CAMS systems.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Knowledge of 480V, three-phase power, VFDs, control systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Technical degree or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support maintenance technicians in a fast-paced production environment.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Support preventive maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Diagnose problems involving PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, control panels, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Work safely with 480V and industrial three-phase electrical systems.
• Support high-speed bakery production and packaging equipment.
• Help reduce downtime and identify solutions to recurring equipment failures.
• Utilize CMMS/CAMS systems to support maintenance planning and documentation.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Location: Atlanta, GA Area | Full-Time | Direct Hire
Salary: $80-$95K
SHIFT: 3rd Shift 11pm to 7am (5-6 days a week)

We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a well-established, high-speed bakery manufacturing operation in the Atlanta area. This is an opportunity for a hands‑on leader who knows how to troubleshoot equipment, develop technicians, improve reliability, and keep high-volume production moving safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience, preferably within bakery or food manufacturing
• Hands‑on experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment
• Strong Allen‑Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience
• Experience with CMMS/CAMS systems
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
• Knowledge of 480V, three‑phase power, VFDs, control systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic
• Technical degree or equivalent industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency

Bakery Experience Gets Our Attention

Experience maintaining equipment such as tunnel ovens, conveyorized ovens, mixers, proofers, conveyors, and high-speed packaging equipment is highly desirable.

Experience using mills, lathes, drill presses, welding equipment, and other maintenance shop equipment is also valuable.
