Job summary

Conifer Realty LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Egg Harbor City, NJ to lead a maintenance team across affordable housing communities. You will oversee repairs, safety, and resident satisfaction while ensuring quality and efficiency across properties.

The ideal candidate has HVAC certification, 5+ years in residential maintenance with supervision, and strong experience with budgets, vendors, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience with team supervision.
• HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing.
• Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call emergencies.
• High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold Conifer’s quality and safety standards.
• Manage work orders, make‑ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housing regulations.
• Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks when needed.
