Job summary

Kraft Heinz Beaver Dam Plant is seeking a maintenance leader to direct maintenance personnel, ensure equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and utility systems.

You will develop preventive maintenance procedures, manage budgets, and participate in QRMP audits, Six Sigma/Lean initiatives, and cost control, with a flexible schedule and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering or related technical field.
• 1–5 years of related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing is required.
• Experience implementing and maintaining TPM systems; understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices; safety and quality minded; capable of making sound decisions.
• Understanding of direct and overhead cost systems.
• Experience using, troubleshooting, and programming Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules to include days, afternoons, midnights, and weekend work; must be able to bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to motivate and lead others, deal with ambiguity, have a results-driven mindset, good decision-making skills, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance personnel to ensure systems operate at peak capability to meet production schedules, quality, costs and priorities.
• Provides maintenance training, including SAP usage and routine maintenance.
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker-hour requirements.
• Assists with supervision of maintenance staff, including performance management and development.
• Ensures equipment and facilities are safe and operable; arranges replacements or upgrades as needed.
• Develops preventive maintenance procedures and maintenance logs.
• Coordinates corrective and preventive maintenance per procedures and financial considerations.
• Analyzes downtime reports, identifies opportunities, and initiates action plans to improve efficiency.
• Participates in QRMP audits and drives corrective actions; leads Six Sigma/Lean initiatives.
