Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in technical production/operations, or 3 years of military operations/leadership experience, or 7+ years of technical maintenance experience.
Experience in Food Manufacturing or Industrial Maintenance Operations.
Supervisory, communication, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Computer and PLC skills.
Experience in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct maintenance modifications, repair production equipment, mechanical safety installations and maintenance of other mechanical devices within the plant.
Oversee production processes, installation of new equipment and repair of mechanically functioning equipment, including boilers, air compressors, refrigeration, wastewater treatment, process equipment and controls.
Work cross-functionally to improve processes within the organization.
Supervise day-to-day operations of a group of employees to assure a smooth workflow, assign and review progress.
Estimate personnel needs and ensure adequate staffing to meet deadlines.
Handle inquiries and supervise training and development of subordinate staff; approve overtime and address issues.
