Volt is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor for a leading manufacturing facility in Hayward, CA. The role directs maintenance technicians, prioritizes schedules, and ensures equipment reliability.

Ideal candidate has supervisory, hands-on PLC troubleshooting, and blueprints-reading skills, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM, temp-to-hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience supervising industrial maintenance teams.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and VFDs.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor maintenance technicians in repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of pumps, motors, conveyors, and gearboxes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and electrical systems.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and meets standards.
• Review blueprints and maintenance manuals to support work.
• Manage work orders, inventory, and documentation.
