Job summary

EmergencyMD in California seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including press brakes, CNC machines, welders, HVAC, and plumbing systems. This is a Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM position with a temp-to-hire status.

You will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, assist with installations and relocations, maintain documentation, and support root-cause analysis to improve

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience maintaining metal fabrication equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic diagrams, and machine drawings.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including press brakes, punch presses, CNC machines, welders, air compressors, and HVAC systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and relocations as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Maintain and repair plumbing systems (air, water, and drain lines) and electrical systems, including motors, lighting, and control circuits.
Perform general facility maintenance, including lighting repairs, structural maintenance, and minor construction projects.
Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, electrical safety, OSHA, and Cal/OSHA regulations.
