Job summary

Volt is immediately hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Taft, CA. You will provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support, perform preventative maintenance, installations, service, repairs, troubleshooting, and resolution of multiple operating machines in a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have at least a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, can use CMMS effectively, and possess mobile equipment skills (forklifts, crane, front-end loader).

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or related electrical/mechanical experience preferred.
• Must be able to use CMMS effectively.
• Mobile equipment skills such as forklifts, crane, and front-end loader preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose failures, test equipment, and document repair procedures.
