Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic at our Plymouth, Michigan facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to improve reliability, safety, and performance. You will also provide guidance and mentoring to team members as needed.

Work on 2nd shift, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, on-site. Requires high school education and 5+ years of maintenance experience, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Lockout/Tagout

Qualifications

• High school education is required.
• 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience is expected.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including electrical, hydraulic, and fluid dynamics.
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment.
• Familiarity with hand tools, calibration, NC, and Lockout/Tagout.
• Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
• Ability to interpret instructions and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and power tools to repair and maintain manufacturing machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine service.
• Diagnose breakdowns, troubleshoot, and complete repairs.
• Follow diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specs for maintenance.
• Lead, coach, and mentor team members as needed.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality policies including Lockout/Tagout.
