Job summary

Plymouth Tube Trent is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to ensure safe, dependable equipment and meet customer expectations. The role involves proactive and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis to reduce downtime and improve mean time between failures.

Responsibilities include PM activities, equipment installation, hazardous waste management, and compliance training such as RCRA and DOT.

Qualifications

2 Year Electro-Mechanical Technical Degree or Equivalent.
Must have experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
5 or more years of experience preferred.
Safety training and PPE provided by Plymouth.

Responsibilities

Actively participate as part of the maintenance team in the efforts to increase runtime of the entire facility.
Execute PM, Proactive, and Predictive maintenance techniques.
Breakdown troubleshooting and corrective action.
Work Order execution and root cause analysis.
Equipment installation and improvement.
Hazardous waste management.
Inspects and inventories site-generated hazardous waste staging areas.
Assists the transfer of site-generated hazardous waste to on-site staging areas.
Directs storage of site-generated hazardous waste in the hazardous waste staging areas.
Completes annual RCRA Training & DOT Training as needed for managing and maintaining hazardous waste.
Conducts inspections of Satellite Accumulation Areas.
May be required to load and unload site generated hazardous waste as required for shipping purposes
