Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot failures, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime through effective repairs.
• Collaborate with production operators and engineering teams to improve machinery performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanic or Maintenance Technician in manufacturing or packaging environments.
• Experience leading a team of Mechanics.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyor systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive maintenance approach.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
