Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Washington state to lead and supervise the maintenance team for a residential community. You will oversee interior and exterior repairs, preventive maintenance, and grounds keeping to ensure safety, beauty, and value for residents.

Qualified candidates bring HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical know-how, plus strong leadership and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• EPA 608 Type I & II, plus Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
• Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Proficient computer skills, including Ops Technology and email.
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends.
• Strong customer service and teamwork abilities.
• Clear oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise all maintenance associates.
• Ensure community and grounds are safe and well maintained.
• Inspect, identify and repair areas in need.
• Maintain grounds and coordinate lawn service with vendors.
• Set up and maintain Community Compliance Manual.
• Respond to repair requests from residents and staff.
• Prepare apartments for new residents.
• Ensure proper trash removal.
• Maintain safety to prevent injuries.
• Attend required meetings and training.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Additional duties as assigned.
